The sheets of agglomerated cork are obtained by laminating cork blocks and are available in different densities and colours.
The agglomerate is essentially the result of crushing cork waste and can be applied in advertising panes, in parts of footwear, in computer printers, in boxes and trays, in protection helmets, buoys, jackets and floaters, in the cuffs of fishing poles, on carpets, bags and folders, and even on fabric for clothing and paper.
In sports, it is used in hockey balls, cricket, baseball and badminton, table tennis racquets, small balls of whistles, golf clubs, etc. In industry, it can be used as a mechanical joint or anti-vibration material in different machineries.
Also available in black agglomerate (from cork waste that is crushed and subjected to high temperatures) and is mainly used as a thermal, acoustic and vibration insulation.
