Capsulated stoppers are a combination of a natural cork, a natural colmated cork or an agglomerated cork, on top of which is inserted a capsule in PVC, porcelain, metal, glass or other materials.
The capsulated cork is generally used in liqueurs/fortified wines, or spirits.
The main examples are the generality of Port Wines, Madeira Wines, Sherry, Calvados, Moscatel from Setúbal and also Whisky, Vodka, Cognac, Armagnac, Brandy, Liqueurs and Spirits, etc.
